Eye Camp for the film fraternity
Being Human conducted an eye camp for the film fraternity at Kamalistan Studio on the 11th and 12th of August 2012.On day one, there were 340 registrations and on day two, 400 registrations.

Salman Meets ACORN Kids
The kids from The Dharavi Project - Acorn Foundation got a pleasant surprise as Salman joined them in a special luncheon arranged by Being Human. To add to the thrill, the kids were gifted with sports shoes, chappals & Being Human t-shirts.

Being Human Novartis
It was the year 2000, when Glivec burst into the scene of medicine and changed the way one thought of cancer therapy. Also known as 'The Magic Bullet', this wonder drug has transformed the life threatening Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) into a manageable condition. On 28th July, 2012, Being Human and Salman Khan together with Novartis and The Max Foundation, celebrated 10 years of this revolutionary drug that has made the treatment of CML & GIST, easier. Thanks to the access programme put in place by Novartis, patients who cannot afford the drug are receiving it at no cost. So far 16,000 patients have been enrolled in this programme. The Max Foundation administers the programme and provides these patients with all the emotional , informational and practical support they need.

Free Eye Camp at Patiala
The success story of Being Human continues with the recent free Eye Camp held at Dhanwant Singh Eye Hospital in Patiala. The camp witnessed the attendance of about 700 patients on Day 1, who were examined with utmost precision by competent doctors. Moreover, 83 surgeries were successfuly performed by the end of the second day. It was heartwarming to see such a great response from needy patients who only had the warmest words of gratitude to grace the occasion.

Bone Marrow Donor Registration Camp
In association with Marrow Donor Registry India (MDRI), 'Being Human' held a camp at 'Drishti', NM College's festival. Around 230 people pledged their marrow to help patients with blood-related illnesses like Leukaemia, Thalassemia, Aplastic Anaemia and Congenital Immunodeficiency.

Salman Khan inaugurated the 'Hear For All' Club in Mumbai along with Himesh Reshammiya, which will benefit children with hearing difficulties and provide services to the under privileged.

Being Human @ D.Y. Patil Annual Achievers Awards
Dr D Y Patil Group in association with Bhamla Foundation presented for the first time, the D Y Patil Annual Achiever's Award. This initiative has been taken to recognize, reward and honour individuals with leadership qualities who have shown exceptional talent in categories extending to various genres from education to business to bravery. The audience was kept enraptured by the performance presented by the adorable special children from the Being Human foundation. Salman Khan was acknowledged for Being Human Foundation and encouraged the children performing by joining them on the stage.

K.J. Somaiya Camp: 370 students donate blood
The Salman Khan Foundation joined hands with the Marrow Donor Registry India (MDRI) to hold interactive sessions at K.J Somaiya College to overcome students' doubts regarding stem cell registration. The sessions were so successful that 370 students donated 10 ml of blood and registered with MDRI

K.J. Somaiya 'Marrowthon': when people run to the aid of others!
K.J. Somaya College organized a 7.5 km run in support for Being Human and MDRI (Marrow Donor Registry India). Part of the proceeds of the event went to charity. If your college would like to similarly contribute, please do write us and we shall get in touch with you.

HDIL Couture Week 2010: Salman's friends support 'Being Human'
The country's top heroines such as Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Sushmita Sen, Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor , Bipasha Basu and Priety Zinta scorched the ramp at the Being Human Fashion Show at HDIL Couture Week 2010, to spread the message.
